Montana Miniatures

Trish Stevenson / Comment on this

Well it is time for Western Art Week in Great Falls once again, celebrating the birthday of Charles M. Russell, although not all the normal activities and shows are happening. (Many have rescheduled to August, due to Covid.) I will not be attending this year, as I am planning on doing the Out West Art Show in August. But - Montana Miniatures will take place as Zach and Nicole Cheetham of Bitterroot Frames and Gallery will go forward and host this show along with the Montana Masters Show. You can view the artwork of both shows online at https://bitterrootframes.com/shows/ or if you happen to be in Great Falls, Montana, March 18-20, 2021 head on over to the Heritage Inn!

The Bosque Art Classic

Trish Stevenson / Comment on this

I am honored that his painting was selected as part of the Bold Brush Competition's FAV 15% for May 2019! I am also honored that it was accepted to the Bosque Art Classic, judged this year by master sculptor Oreland C. Joe, Sr., member of the Cowboy Artists of America.  The 34th Annual Bosque Art Classic will open with a Special Preview Dinner on Saturday, September 14, 2019. It is then open to the public September 15 - 28th,2019. New this year is online purchasing being made available after the opening weekend.

The Classic is held at the Bosque Arts Center in the tiny town of Clifton, Texas. According to the Center's website: "Considered one of the “100 Best Small Art Towns in America,” Clifton has attracted such renowned artists as the late James Boren, the late Melvin Warren, Bruce Greene, Martin Grelle, George Hallmark, Tony Eubanks and George Boutwell. Many of those artists have exhibited or taught at the Arts Center." It has become a center for performing & visual arts, recreation and educational programs - bringing the arts to a rural area.
